I had a thorough exam with every aspect of my sight and eye health properly investigated with state-of-the-art equipment and then appropriately explained to my satisfaction. I had a better explanation (and view!) of an area of my eye that had recently been damaged by a stroke in an artery in my eye than I got from either the stroke team or the ophthalmology team at Wash U and BJC where I was recently treated (though don't get me wrong, God belss them for saving part of my sight!). I just love to be shown as much as possible, to understand as much as possible. I also loved the down to earth practical advice given regarding my dry eyes. It turns out simple warm compresses twice a day are really helping! And all of that of $40! In the current medical industrial system I find that an extraordinary bargain. I'd find it a bargain in any medical system.
